The Nomos Glashütte Tetra watch is truly amazing, a square watch with a serious attitude. Designed for the contemporary watch lover who enjoys their watch with a splash of cool about them. Created using the best materials and created by the design team, the Tetra is one of the most incredible watches in the NOMOS collection and it is not difficult to see why this has been so. Tetra is a great Glashütte timepiece: simple, clear, perhaps rather selfish even.
The Nomos Glashütte Tetra is a marvel - a square watch with hands that move in a circle. This shape actually looks cooler on certain wrists.
Tetra is very thin for a mechanical watch and its lugs possess a real lightness of touch. This is why there are just two on each side. It’s a visual illusion, this allows the strap to be made slighter. Lovely, slim and yet tough. Tetra is also available in the neomatik version. Tetra looks a little more simple than the other NOMOS watches. Maybe that’s why the designers love to play with its dial in varying styles.
With an automatic caliber, Tetra neomatik remains as slim as a hand-wound timepiece, thanks to DUW 3001, the tenth in-house caliber from NOMOS Glashütte. A huge volume of history and elegant with high-tech, where this has precision: that is NOMOS Glashütte. With the most stunning of all NOMOS calibers, the hand-wound Alpha movement, Tetra also remains with the caliber DUW 4101, so with a date feature. With the very slim neomatik calibers DUW 3001 and, with a date function, DUW 6101.
With an edge length of 33 millimeters and cyan blue bits, Tetra neomatik 39 looks very sporty and larger than ever. The slim automatic caliber DUW 3001 within also has the ideal range of only 3.2 millimeters in height.

Tetra has gone smart for the occasion in this version with a polished golden dial and golden hands in a steel case. Therefore, coordinates work easily with all types of jewellery. A watch that, although understated, will get plenty of second glances. Inside this, working constantly is the in-house hand-wound Alpha caliber.
Fresh from NOMOS Glashütte is a duo. These nice, two-hand models are 33 millimeters in diameter—or for Tetra 27 duo, with a side length of 27 millimeters. Ideal for slimmer wrists and still very accurate, even without the small seconds. The NOMOS caliber Alpha.2 keeps things running on the inside.
This lush velour leather strap nicely lets the watch bring on attention as it flatters very slim wrists and lets little watches look even classier. Our hand-wound watches arrive in the classic NOMOS watch box. It is made from black poplar wood—and the ideal place for your ideal watch and its booklet.
Alpha.2 is based on the NOMOS highly accurate in-house caliber, Alpha. Yet with a small but key difference. This is that the caliber has a new second wheel with a tiny staff. Alpha.2 keeps time in NOMOS’ smaller two-hand versions of Tangente, Orion, Ludwig, and Tetra.
Glasshütte became a centre of watchmaking talent and making in the 1800’s when the town’s natural resources ran out. WWI, II and the GDR times took their toll on the town’s ability to create timepieces, having a terrible impact on the town’s watch business. Still, the spark of creativity remained alive in the area. When the Berlin Wall came down in 1990 and communism in Germany with it, Glasshütte would re emerge as a powerful force of watchmaking in the area.
